The concert held at Deer Path Park, 120 West Woodschurch Road, Flemington, with THE ALLENTOWN BAND begins at 7pm, concluding at 9pm followed by an awesome, GRAND FINALE FIREWORKS SHOW. Join Tricentennial Star Sponsor, ExxonMobil on the 175th birthday of the founder of Standard Oil, now ExxonMobil, John D. Rockefeller, for an interesting history about this company's long relationship and presence in Hunterdon County -- far longer than the 30 years of the Technology Center. An opportunity to peek at the complex, but due to Security restrictions at this location, no one will be admitted without a reservation in advance and no picture taking is permitted. Lecturer Paul Muir will his discussion to the relevance of Industry within Hunterdon County today.  He will start with the beginnings of Industrial infrastructure needed to support our mostly agrarian roots.  He will also trace the rise and in most cases the fall industries within our County.  Mr. Muir will conclude the lecture with how today Hunterdon struggles to balance preservation with innovation.
