Life long NJ resident. 42 year resident of Hunterdon County. Married 50 years to wife, Elizabeth. Have raised six children: Christopher, Matthew, Mark, Jonathan, Thomas and Margaret Marie. Have earned Bachelor’s, Masters and Doctoral degrees. Coin collector and amateur historian since the age of 10. Big fan of George Washington and the founding fathers. Life member of numerous numismatic associations.

Retired teacher, Associate Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at Rutgers. Project Manager: Bell Laboratories.
Public Service:
Past President: New Jersey Numismatic Society (NJNS) & Garden State Numismatic Association (GSNA).
Accredited Senior Member: American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
One of nine ASA certified numismatic appraisers in the U.S. Over the years, have completed assignments for banks, estates, trusts, the Commodities Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), the FBI, U.S. Customs Service, the DEA and U.S. State Department. Conducted forensic appraisals of rare coins recovered from safe deposit boxes at the JP Morgan Bank branch at the World Trade Center after 911.
Hunterdon County member of the 1999 New Jersey Commemorative Quarter Commission. Proposed the design which was unanimously selected: Washington Crossing the Delaware before the Battle of Trenton in 1776.
Former vice chair of the Clinton Township Republican Club and member of the Clinton Township Council.
Sponsored and organized the April 15, 2010 Hunterdon County Tea Party Express bus to Washington, D.C. to protest both ObamaCare and Cap & Trade legislation. Ours was the only bus from NJ on that day.
Founder of the Hunterdon County Memorial Day Association (HCMDA) to publicly recognize and honor on both Memorial and Veterans Day each year; deceased veterans from the Revolutionary War to the present time, as sponsored by county families. |
