JOHN FORCE a native New Jerseyan, has been a Hunterdon County resident since the early 1950s.  He graduated from Pennington High School in 1946 and had a working four year scholarship to Delaware college of Science and Agriculture, graduating with a degree with a degree in Dairy Husbandry.  For several years he managed dairy herds in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He was offered a sales position with Surge Dairy Farm Equipment Company, covering approximately 215 farms in Hunterdon County.  When the dairy farms began to dwindle in the county, he decided to go into business for himself.  Pete Tedeschi offered John’s family his bicycle business, now owned by John’s son, Dan, which continues as a strong business today. John has many hobbies and enjoys landscaping.
