Elizabeth Cole came to the Red Mill Museum Village in 2005 as the Curator of Education with enthusiasm for educational programming for thousands of school children. In 2010, Cole became the Curator of Collections and her curatorial duties include collections management, developing and implementing exhibits. Prior to coming to the Red Mill Museum Village Cole was the Assistant Director of the Montclair Historical Society which operated two historic house museums the Crane House and Evergreens.  It was in Montclair, New Jersey where she earned her degree in History at Montclair State University.  Elizabeth Cole’s passion for history museums grew from a wide range of responsibilities including developing and implementing public programming, membership development, collections management, and administrative support.  Her earlier involvement with history museums began as a project consultant for the Susquehanna Heritage Center of Binghamton, New York.
